The role in short
To support the Goods-In Manager to accurately book in and control all Goods-In deliveries.
We offer two contract options with varying shift hours, which will be discussed during the interview:
* 37.5 hours per week
* 42.5 hours per week
Available Roles:
1 x available shift working Monday - Friday: Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm (37.5 hour contract) OR Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm (42.5 hour contract)
Salary: £26,325 - £32,045 (£13.50 - £14.50 per hour)

Onto the nitty gritty!
Working as a Goods-In Operative you will be required to:
* Assess the scheduled deliveries each day and assist the Goods-In Manager and Coordinator in organising the workload
* Safely unload and receive deliveries, usually using a forklift truck
* Check all invoices to ensure they correspond with the delivered stock; raising discrepancies as per Company procedure
* Replenish stock locations with receipted products, breaking down pallets for storage when required
* Accurately book stock into our inventory system
Health and safety and working standards
* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, ensuring all health and safety procedures and guidelines are followed
* Support a culture that promotes working safely, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and integrity
We’d like to meet someone with...
* Reach forklift licence required
* Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential (training can be provided)
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail, especially when working in high pressured environments
* Ability to follow set daily routines
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Reliable and can work cooperatively in a team to meet daily demands
