The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading retailer for an experienced Social Media Manager to join their team based in Walsall, with hybrid working available. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary of up to £45,000.
In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing the company's social media strategy, engaging with millions of customers daily, and driving growth across online platforms. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase audience engagement and follower growth.
Oversee the creation and management of a dynamic social media content calendar aligned with the company's activity plans.
Collaborate with internal teams and external creatives to produce high-quality content, including images, videos, and GIFs.
Build relationships with influencers to enhance brand visibility and outreach.
Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a vibrant online community.
Analyse social media performance metrics to optimise campaigns and strategies.
Identify and capitalise on current trends to maintain a competitive edge in the digital space.
Work closely with customer service, PR, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Manage paid social campaigns, ensuring effective use of budgets and resources.
Nurture user-generated content and advocate groups to promote positive brand sentiment.Candidate Criteria
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in social media management, ideally within the retail or marketing sectors.
Proficiency in managing social media platforms, web tools, and analytics tools.
Exceptional content creation and storytelling skills with a strong eye for detail.
The ability to spot and leverage emerging trends effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering engaging content.
A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in managing paid social campaigns and evaluating performance metrics.
Confidence in engaging with influencers and building beneficial partnerships.
