We are currently recruiting for a well-regarded law firm based in Salisbury. The successful candidate will be reporting to the head of the department. The primary responsibilities involve engaging in transactions concerning the buying and selling of residential properties and potentially handling unregistered titles, along with associated mortgage procedures and general property-related tasks.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
1. Managing sales and purchases of residential properties from initiation to completion, including managing all Stamp Duty Land Tax procedures and registration aspects.
2. Reporting to and collaborating with the Head of the Property team, regarding client interactions and financial/performance obligations.
3. Facilitating property sales on behalf of Executors in collaboration with the Probate department.
4. Reconstituting titles for clients with missing title deeds.
5. Handling basic Deeds of Covenant and Deeds of Easement.
6. Drafting Residential property agreements.
7. Serving as the primary point of contact for client property inquiries and providing telephone quotes.
8. Assisting the Head of Property in marketing efforts.
9. Providing guidance and supervision to junior team members.
Competencies and Experience required:
10. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing, including procedures for unregistered land and a solid understanding of property law.
11. Experience in managing individual caseloads and interacting with clients and third parties independently.
12. Proficiency in IT skills, including experience with Practice Management and Document Management Systems.
