Our practice is going to be extended and refurbished later this year which is a very exciting prospect for us.
What your typical day will look like
Our Call Handlers are responsible for but not limited to, answering phones, transfer calls to appropriate departments as needed, scheduling appointments, appointment reminder calls, and answering general question about our services and practice.
This is a part time role- rota pattern is flexible- we are looking for the right candidate!
The attributes required
1. You are friendly and welcoming for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice or when you answer the phone.
2. You will have great computer skills and be able to use Windows based computer systems, word processing, email, web search and other skills needed to effectively use the practice management software program
3. You are calm, attentive and always focus on the clients’ and pets’ needs.
4. You will bring enthusiasm and drive to your role. Your passion for service is matched with your love of pets.
5. You can deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet.
6. Your personality is infectious and along with your fellow colleagues, you create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.
7. You embrace change and are happy to provide new ideas for the team as appropriate.
