Role Definition:
Produce day to day production forecasts and plans, and manage two 4 on 4 off planners, ensure stock is accurately reported and rotated to strict deadlines and to manage the administration support for sales order processing and factory order processing. Heavily involved in Procurement and stock management including sales.
* Deliver accurate plans to achieve customer service of 100%
* Planning - plan effectively to ensure smooth and efficient flow from Boning Hall to Despatch.
* Maintain forecast within the planning model to allow to effective packaging/raw material planning.
* Ensure clearly communicated plans drive effective utilisation of resource.
* Manage the team to ensure minimisation of stock write off of finished goods through effective planning.
* Stock Management - constantly manage stock levels of all products to ensure stock maturation and that product is utilised in a timely manner to maximise the value of that product and eliminate stock write offs.
* KPIs - departmental performance indicators to be agreed, developed and monitored with Retail General Manager.
* Personal - it is expected of you to have or to be; professional, organised, have good people skills, good management and control skills and good personal attributes.
* Quality - to process Beef and all by products to Company and Customer requirements.
* Legal - ensure all legal and legislative requirements are maintained and up to date.
* Yields - maximise use of products obtaining high yields and low waste.
* Labour - efficiently deploy and manage departmental resource.
* Cost - manage and control departmental costs effectively to include; energy usage, water usage, effluent cost and all other aspects off overhead costs.
* Hygiene - ensure best practice is adopted at all times.
* Workforce - maintain a well disciplined and motivated workforce and provide appraisal and feedback for all departmental staff.
* Constantly and consistently review systems and procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
