The role
We seek an experienced and talented Content Designer to lead on the strategy and execution of our visual content strategy, playing a vital role in elevating our brand and digital presence. This role suits someone creative, collaborative and detail-oriented, with a passion for impactful storytelling, visual design, and project management within a fast-paced, purpose-driven organisation. You will have experience in graphic design, branding, video production and editing, web design and motion graphics.
You’ll need a background in design, brand communications and project management and be proficient in multiple content creation software tools. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Communications Manager, delivering a consistent, on-brand experience across all channels and tailored to specific audiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on the design of graphics, infographics, carousels, mailers and motion graphics. Develop visually engaging content for corporate social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, mailchimp and others) as well as internal comms.
* Lead on web design and take the helm on Cera's new website strategy.
* Develop and execute a content creation plan aligned with Cera’s communications goals, working closely with the Communications Manager to ensure synergy across all platforms.
* Oversee video and motion graphic content creation, from initial concept through to editing and final delivery, ensuring alignment with Cera’s brand guidelines.
* Proofreading and supporting the Communications Manager with crafting written content, ensuring clarity and brand consistency across all communications.
* Lead branding initiatives, including the creation and management of a new website, ensuring a modern, user-friendly and on-brand digital experience.
* Collaborate on internal communication efforts, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged through well-designed internal content, from newsletters to internal events.
* Cross-functional collaboration - working with PR campaigns, social media and integration teams to support content initiatives, particularly for new acquisitions, news stories and managing Cera’s digital presence on key platforms.
* Leverage creative skills to experiment with and test out new approaches and content formats that highlight Cera’s successes, news stories and milestones.
* Develop efficient and creative problem-solving strategies within a lean, collaborative and agile Communications & PR team.
Skills and Experience Required
* Creative design expertise is a must - proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD), Canva and other content creation tools.
* Strong written & visual communication - excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a high attention to detail for quality and accuracy.
* Web design experience, ideally within a corporate communications function.
* Video production and editing experience, ideally including animation and motion graphics.
* Project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery with high standards.
* Stakeholder collaboration - skilled at working with senior managers and teams across departments, bringing out the best in others while delivering solutions that drive engagement and impact.
* Organised and detail-oriented -demonstrates meticulous planning and organisational skills, with the ability to anticipate, prioritise and adjust to challenges as they arise..
