About the Role
:
As the NRM Excellence Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the NRM culture and capability of our Consumer Goods business across diverse markets in Europe. Your main role will be to drive the NRM culture and capability roadmap for Consumer Goods EMEA, step-changing the processes for how we identify NRM opportunities, set strategies, execute, and support implementation.
Reporting to the Net Revenue Management Lead for Consumer Goods EMEA, you will cooperate closely with relevant stakeholders, such as members of the Commercial Excellence Team, Regional Net Revenue Managers and Business Development Managers, external consultants, and Regional Customer Marketing Directors, to lead our NRM culture and capability journey.
To succeed, this role demands NRM knowledge, structured change management and organizational skills, and pioneering & entrepreneurial behaviours.
What You Will Do:
1. Develop and drive the NRM culture & capability roadmap for a business unit, in strong collaboration with key regional stakeholders
2. Lead BU-wide capability-building projects, such as the NRM Academy. Develop content, deliver training, and manage the relationship with expert external partner(s).
3. Own business unit’s suite of NRM playbooks ensuring they are always up to date, aligned and adopted
4. Drive the implementation of the business unit’s ways of working through pilots and partnerships with regional teams. Monitor and report activities across geographies, co-ordinate and optimize critical process outputs.
5. Lead the assessment of NRM maturity across geographies. Measure and communicate progress; celebrate and leverage success.
6. Keep benchmarking and up-skilling to be at the forefront of best-in-class processes across NRM pillars. Bring external expertise into business unit’s way of working, through own working and business case approval for new investments.
7. Create a new access point / online hub for NRM resources
8. Be an influential, leading part of Essity’s NRM community
9. Define & implement the method by which Essity benchmarks its NRM maturity versus its peers
Who You Are:
10. Extensive experience within FMCG industry, within commercial or strategic business roles
11. Proven experience within Revenue Growth Management (RGM) / Net Revenue Management (NRM) / Commercial Strategy / Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P) within FMCG / CPG or Management Consulting
12. Exceptional organizational skills: a structured ability stay in control of the detail of large complex projects involving multiple internal & external stakeholders
13. Excellent collaboration skills: experience from working and achieving results in a matrix organization, demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse and international teams
14. In-depth understanding of key NRM concepts including Brand Portfolio Pricing, Price Pack Architecture (PPA), Mix Management, Promotion Strategy and Trade Investment
15. Excited to pioneer new ways of working within Essity; driven to deliver organizational behavioral change
16. Have experience in leading with personal influence with excellent communication and presentation skills
17. Practical, supportive & principled; ability to collaboratively problem solve and break barriers to execution of new processes and playbooks
18. Engaging and positive; a motivating driving force from within high-performing teams
19. Fluent in English
20. Ability to travel20-30% per month
