Recruitment Consultant
Pertemps Telford are looking for a full-time permanent temporary consultant to run and drive the existing industrial desk in the office. You will be working as a Recruitment Consultant, on a desk with a lot of potential for growth with numerous existing clients, and lots of leads and potential business. This role will be fast-paced, and you will have a passion for exceeding and delivering excellent service and customer service.
In order for your desk to grow, you would be on the phone and out on the road collecting leads and visiting potential and existing clients. You will use your expertise to develop and maintain strong and trusted relationships, really understanding your client and delivering the best staffing solutions to ensure repeat business.
You will use your business knowledge to develop new business opportunities, identify prospects, and secure new contracts. You will be required to meet and exceed sales targets, expanding the client base while maintaining the quality service for your existing accounts. There is an element of candidate sourcing and management, using your expertise to source, interview, and screen candidates to ensure they meet the client’s requirements.
Ideal Candidate
1. Previous recruitment experience is advantageous, ideally in a temp environment.
2. Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
3. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and business development targets.
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, multitask, and deliver on tight deadlines.
6. Self-Motivated.
7. Desire to exceed targets and be the best you can be.
Hours
8 – 5.30pm
Monday – Friday
Salary
£26,500 - £28,500 + uncapped commission (DoE)
32 days holiday entitlement
