We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and care to our youngest learners, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their educational journey.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or currently undergoing Initial Teacher Training (ITT) leading to QTS for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
* A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing them with a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Creativity and innovation in teaching methods, with a willingness to adapt and differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives and training programs.
* An understanding of and commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the school community.
* Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance and eligibility to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons and learning experiences in accordance with the EYFS curriculum.
* Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe, valued, and respected.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents and implementing appropriate interventions where necessary.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the holistic development of students and contribute to the wider life of the school community.
* Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and fostering a strong home-school partnership.
* Engage in professional development opportunities and reflective practice to continually improve teaching practice and enhance student outcomes.
