Operational resilience consultant - ftc

Job Description

Operational Resilience Consultant required for a global financial services firm. You will work within Governance and Change in strengthening operational resilience across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

* Documentation and Compliance: Ensure operational resilience documentation aligns with governance and regulatory standards (FCA/PRA, DORA).
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive a coordinated approach to reporting and resilience management.
* Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on deliverables, risks, and issues; facilitate workshops to gather technical and non-technical input.
* Data Management: Support data mapping to connect new and established sources to reporting systems, ensuring data quality.
* Issue Resolution: Work with stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve resilience gaps; lead discussions to address emerging issues.
* Governance and Reporting: Create PowerPoint presentations for committees, take meeting minutes, and support the preparation of self-assessment reports.


Experience:

1. Background in governance, ideally within the UK financial sector.
2. Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow (Operational Resilience module) and JIRA (preferred).
