We're searching for an experienced and dynamic Depot Manager to lead and optimise the operations at our depot and transfer station in Middlesbrough. If ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and operator licences is more than just a responsibility but a passion for you, this is the role where you can truly excel. Here’s what we require:
* Proven Experience: Solid background as an Operations / Depot / General Manager or in a similar high-responsibility role within services or logistics.
* CPC Qualification: Essential for managing compliance and operational standards.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commercially driven, and time-sensitive environment.
* Leadership in Complex Settings: Experience in people management and health & safety within a unionised, multi-shift environment.
* Legislative Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of current and upcoming environmental and health & safety regulations.
* Local Insight: Familiarity with the local area for effective operations.
* KPI Focused: Demonstrated ability to meet clearly defined KPIs.
* Continuous Improvement: A proven track record of driving continuous improvement in an operational setting.
* Strong Communication: Ability to communicate persuasively, plan meticulously, and collaborate effectively.
