Context
The key priority for Early Help Locality teams is that children, young people and families are safe and feel safe, which means providing timely, accessible early help and support to ensure they are resilient, independent and confident in their future. Early Help services work with children, young people and families in a multi-agency environment providing early help to identify and address problems before they escalate. Each locality will work in a culture in which children and families and communities are worked with respectfully, with recognition of their diverse experiences and backgrounds and in a spirit of partnership that encourages families to develop their own solutions and to receive the help and support they need to address their complex issues.
Purpose of Role
1. Using professional knowledge and skills to work in partnership with other practitioner/professionals, children, young people and their families; using the early help assessment to identify and where appropriate be the lead practitioner to coordinate the implementation of a multi-agency plan of intervention.
