What experience and qualifications do you need to be a successful Asbestos Surveyor?
– To be blunt, the more experience the better, a minimum of 6 months is important so they can trust you will be okay to be left to work independently. Having the P402 or equivalent of is industry standard so make sure it is on the CV you send over to me! Having a working IT knowledge that allows you to trouble shoot will impress
Roles and Responsibilities
1. In accordance with HSG 264: The Survey Guide, carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys for a range of clients to a variety of building types
2. Reinspection audits of existing asbestos surveys (undertaken by both BECL and other Consultancies)
3. Air monitoring and inspection services associated with asbestos removal projects
4. Supervision of Asbestos removal projects
5. Professional representation of Bradley Environmental Consultants to our clients, providing both specialist advice and consultancy services
