Allied Organic Foods is an organic food importer and exporter.
We are based in a rural location near Epping and so the candidate will need their own transport, though the role can be split between working from home and in the office. The company is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of the company accounts, and to report to a part-time Accountant.
Responsibilities will include:
* Processing payments, invoices and receipts and entering the data onto Sage Line 50.
* Debtor control and chasing payments
* Reconciling the bank accounts
* Completing Vat returns
* Reconciliations between Sage and the Excel-based in-house information system
* Office managerial duties
* Other ad hoc duties as may be required
* Assisting the Accountant with the year end accounts.
