Job summary
Radiology Medical Support Secretary - Band 3 - hours (Part time, job share and flexible working will be considered)
The Radiology Department are looking to add to our secretarial team, and are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual to provide support to our Radiologists, Junior Doctors and Radiographers. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team, handling many demands at a high pace. A candidate with previous secretarial experience is desired, however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Work autonomously to provide medical secretarial support to Consultant and department, including word processing, audio typing, dealing with incoming and out going mail, filing and photocopying and effectively interfacing with patient, professionals and other agencies. Ensure an efficient service is provided in accordance with national and local access deadlines and targets.
