About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our award-winning kitchen brigade at a prestigious pub, restaurant, and events operation in Cornwall.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high-standard dishes and be passionate about cooking. You will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including food costing, hygiene, and menu development.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations
* Contribute to menu development and food costing
* Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
* Support junior team members in their development
* Work effectively under pressure to deliver outstanding results
Requirements
* Level 2 in Health and Hygiene
* Experience in a similar role or at a similar level
* Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
