The role
We are looking for a Head of Corporate Services Technology to lead the ongoing evolution of Corporate Services Technology platforms, systems and services to enable ITV’s continuing digital transformation, including maximising the investment ITV has made in Oracle Fusion through future automation and innovation.
The role will entail but not be limited to:
1. Lead the Corporate Services Technology team, stabilising and then optimising the operating model across resourcing, tooling and processes, ensuring the required skills and capabilities are available to deliver the agreed service levels.
2. Provide functional, technical and operational guidance to the Corporate Services Tech team, across the full system landscape covered (key systems include: Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, EPM). To include: setting technical standards and direction, owning key technical decisions and ensuring good technical governance of ITV’s solutions.
3. Assume accountability for applicable risk, controls and audit requirements across the covered application landscape
4. Establish and grow collaborative, trusted partnerships with key business stakeholders, such that shared ownership and delivery of strategic and operational roadmaps results in demonstrable business value and advances ITV’s strategic priorities.
5. Champion a strong team culture that centres on the ITV behaviours, promoting collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. Provide leadership and direction for the team, including objective setting, performance review and personal development.
6. Own the delivery of service by the Corporate Services Technology team by defining quality metrics, measuring performance against KPIs and implementing improvements where required.
7. Develop and maintain strong and supportive relationships with internal stakeholders across Group Technology and the wider Technology team (eg architecture, security, governance, workplace, product, and platforms teams).
8. Proactively manage ITV vendors and partners in the Corporate Services Technology area to ensure quality of service and strong ROI for ITV. Position ITV appropriately with vendors, to grow influence and to bring relevant perspective and insight into ITV.
9. Manage budget, including operational and service costs as well as investment spend.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
10. Significant experience of functional and technical solution design, development and implementation encompassing both on-premise and cloud-based technologies (PaaS and SaaS); experience of leading a team implementing these technologies.
11. Proven experience in operational management and service delivery in the enterprise applications area, and of managing and optimising SaaS operations with particular reference to Oracle Fusion.
12. Proven experience in stabilising and optimising ITIL and ITSM processes, with particular reference to SaaS technologies
13. Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining productive and collaborative senior stakeholder relationships.
14. Financial accounting and reporting practices applicable to applications, costs and risks.
15. Experience of negotiating and managing IT contracts across licensing, hardware and professional managed services, including the associated cost models, for optimum benefit.
16. Demonstrable experience in leading a high performing team.
17. Engagement with procurement and legal contract advisors for additional information.
18. Relevant experience in using data processing, analysis and quality management tools to aid decision-making, as well as to deliver service quality assurance and improvement
19. Development and implementation of service delivery operating models, processes and policies.
