A Director of Sales opportunity has arisen to maintain and grow our corporate client base, develop new business, and drive revenue.
* Maintain and grow existing corporate clients through research and account penetration.
* Develop new business across all segments through research, telesales, and appointment making.
* Secure profitable conference, meetings, and banqueting business.
* Drive and follow up all sales leads to maximise revenue.
* Support local Food and Beverage activity and events.
* Drive revenue to meet and exceed budget expectations.
* Be proactive in the local business community.
Key responsibilities:
* Secure new business opportunities from various segments.
* Develop strategic account plans to support the defined account strategy.
* Research and qualify potential customers for meeting, training, conference, and banqueting business.
* Ensure regular proactive sales activities, including board spotting and client presentations.
* Work with the revenue office team to create and execute a focused sales strategy.
* Benchmark the hotel's offers and prices regularly in the market.
* Attend local sales and networking events.
Requirements:
* 1-3 years in a sales-driven environment, hotel experience preferred.
* Detail-oriented with a demonstrated record of accomplishment.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Structured systematic sales approach.
* Self-confidence.
