Wood Process & Energy is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Construction Engineer to join our onshore projects team in Glasgow on a permanent staff basis.
The successful candidate will support the construction engineering efforts, supporting the successful execution of projects within the energy sector. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Knowledge, skills and experience:
7. Appropriate level of construction experience in relevant industry sector
8. Have a broad and deep technical knowledge of construction discipline and associated processes
9. Ability to identify risk to delivery and build in mitigation / contingency plans
10. Substantial experience of interpreting discipline documentation
11. Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies, Hazard in Construction (HAZCON) Studies
12. Substantial knowledge and understanding of technical specifications. Extensive experience in construction engineering, particularly on onshore energy projects
13. Understands the business drivers within customer organisations and how these can be influenced by innovative designs and cost-effective solutions
Qualifications and Requirements:
14. Typically, minimum qualified to Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
15. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and construction best practices
16. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
