As a SENDCo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every student receives the support and resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the school's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) policy and ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to it.
Assessment and Identification: Oversee the identification and assessment of students with SEND, working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Create and monitor IEPs for students with SEND, ensuring that they receive tailored support to meet their specific needs.
