£23,887.50 depending on experience

As a Pharmacy Assistant at our Chichester Hospital, you will hold a Buttercups (or equivalent) qualification in pharmacy services, and you’ll have proven post-qualification experience. It is also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff. You will also have good computer skills.
The job is for 25 hours per week - hours can be flexible to meet the needs of the service and the individual but will include Saturday working on a rota basis.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will:
1. Monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department and maintain appropriate stock levels
2. Assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems
3. Monitor stock levels in designated ward/department areas by carrying out stock top ups
4. Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes
5. Help with general dispensing as required
6. Provide general administrative support to the department

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded, CQC 'outstanding' rated hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking.
We care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit.
