Role: Cover Teacher/TA
Contract: Full time, long-term (opportunity to become permanent)
Start: As soon as possible
Salary: Starting at £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Long-Term Teachers is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity to work at a brilliant special school we support, known for its outstanding educational care and support for students of all ages. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic cover teacher/teaching assistant to join the team.
About the role:
* Provide classroom cover for predominantly primary-aged students when the class teacher is absent
* Offer support as a teaching assistant when ended
* Deliver 1:1 interventions or lead small group interventions
* Confidence in handling all aspects of the role is essential due to its varied nature
The ideal candidate:
* An experienced SEN TA, cover supervisor/HLTA or teacher
* Strong understanding of SEN and the strategies needed to support a diverse range of needs
* Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
* Proactive, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
* Adaptable and flexible in your approach to the role
* Desirable qualifications: Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Level 4 Diploma in Childcare and Education, or similar qualifications in nursery work or childcare
