We currently have an exciting opportunity to work as a Financial Promotions Analyst, providing subject matter expertise in ensuring all advertising and customer communications across our diverse brands – including Direct Line, Churchill, Privilege and Green Flag – are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and customer outcomes focused.
What you will be doing:
This is a first line specialist compliance role, that involves reviewing, providing guidance/feedback, and signing off financial promotions and other customer communications. This is an extremely varied role that provides you with the opportunity to work across all our different Business areas, with a range of stakeholders.
You will:
1. Ensure all advertising and customer communications at all stages of the customer journey meet all legal and regulatory requirements, including FCA financial promotion rules, Consumer Duty, data protection, ASA and CAP/BCAP codes.
2. Provide final sign off for all financial promotions and customer communications across all marketing and communication channels.
3. Keep records of decision-making rationale and ensure all submissions on our approval management system (TAG) present a complete audit trail and all Subject Matter Experts have been involved in the sign off process.
4. Ensure that all customer communications are within risk appetite and adhere to the Product Marketing minimum standard.
5. Assist in the development of a compliant culture within marketing and the business.
6. Provide clear and concise advice/guidance, industry updates and training to promote “right first time”. Pro-actively supporting project work, building collaborative and effective relationships across the business.
What we are looking for:
7. Experience and expertise within a similar compliance and regulatory role.
8. Customer focused.
9. Problem solving and analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
10. Excellent prioritisation skills and good judgement.
11. Strong communicator, ability to influence with strong stakeholder management.
12. Experience in insurance, along with knowledge of marketing and product governance and risk and control frameworks.
13. Strong desire to learn and develop.
