The Best Connection are recruiting an experienced LGV C (HGV Class 2) HIAB driver for our nationally recognised client.
This is an ongoing position to cover a peak increase in business - it will start immediately and continue until approximately October 2024.
The role:
1. Complete domestic and commercial deliveries in North East
2. Loading, and unloading of stock for deliveries
3. Completion of relevant delivery paperwork
The candidate:
4. LGV C licence, CPC & Digi card - all valid and indate
5. HIAB certificate - MUST be ALLMI accredited
6. Experience in a similar role
7. Maximum of 6 penalty points with no DD, DR, IN convictions
Pay Rates (PAYE):
8. £16.50 per hour basic rate for first 8 hours Monday to Friday
9. £24.75 per hour overtime rate after first 8 hours Monday to Friday, and all hours Saturday
10. £33.00 per hour overtime rate for all hours worked Sunday
