Health & Safety Manager Location: Corby (with some travel to Wandsworth) We are seeking an experienced NEBOSH-qualified Health & Safety Manager to join Daily Dose during an exciting phase of growth and expansion. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a background in heavy industry manufacturing. As a visible and proactive leader, you will play a pivotal role in implementing a new Health & Safety strategy following an extensive process review. Your focus will be to drive positive change, embed a Safety First culture, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Management Actively lead from the production floor, assessing current practices and implementing improvements where needed. Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) legislation and industry best practices. Develop strong relationships with production teams and managers to inspire adherence to safety processes and encourage buy-in. Conduct risk assessments and internal/external audits, implementing preventive measures and documenting findings. Investigate incidents and near-misses, providing detailed reports and corrective actions. Maintain and improve management systems and ensure timely reporting to the Senior Leadership Team. Conduct staff inductions, supporting managers to ensure new employees understand all H&S policies and procedures. Deliver ongoing training and development in H&S, risk mitigation, and other compliance. Lead emergency response planning for a high-risk production environment. Monitor and maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Required Experience Significant experience in a Health & Safety role within a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience solving SHEQ challenges. A NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 3) qualification as a minimum. Advantageous: experience in a food production environment. Excellent attention to detail, with strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
