M365 System Engineer
We have an opportunity for a M365 System Engineer to join our high performing EMEA Microsoft 365 Team.
The role will consist of 50% BAU and 50% Project work.
You will be reporting to the Microsoft M365 Team Lead for EMEA. The EMEA Microsoft 365 Team is a team of 4, and forms part of a wider Global Microsoft 365 Team, which means that you will be working closely with teams across the APAC and AMS regions as well.
The team will be responsible for the Microsoft 365 Platform for EMEA, including Messaging. This will include changes, permissions, client access, mail protection, and mail flow in a hybrid environment. The role will also focus on any Microsoft 365 work related to M&As that CBRE run within EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administration of Microsoft Office 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Engage, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform and others)
2. Assisting with mergers and acquisitions of companies into (and out of) CBRE
3. Provide 3rd line support to the FTS, Service desk and End User support teams
4. Implement new features and updates in the Microsoft 365 environment.
5. Being self-sufficient and deliver projects on time
6. Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to understand their needs and provide solutions.
7. Supporting Proofpoint and in/outbound message flow.
8. Train and support end-users on Microsoft 365 applications and features.
9. Create and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations and procedures.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft 365 updates and best practices
Person Specification/Requirements
1. Experience in managing Microsoft 365 environments
2. M365 certification, such as MS Teams Specialist, SPO Admin or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
3. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services
4. Advanced knowledge of but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business and Power Platform
5. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Experience with Microsoft 365 migration projects
10. Strong organizational and time management skills
