If you have a solid understanding of the travel industry, experience as a Copy Editor, and a proven track record of high attention to detail, we would like to welcome you on board as Copy Editor for TTC Tour Brands: Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar and Costsaver.
Proofreading: You will work with our copywriter and copywriting platform to generate and review itinerary copy for brochures, guest documents and web content for guided tours across the world. You will ensure engaging copy achieves product accuracy and appropriate tone of voice for each of our tour brands, with a focus on developing copy for an American audience.
Technical ability: You will maintain our internal copy-generation platform, ensuring each profile is correctly updated as needed to generate copy that maintains a high level of language accuracy as well as correct branding and copywriting standards.
Attention to detail and initiative: You will deliver a consistently high standard by adhering to set guidelines and procedures. You will be proactive in resolving challenges as they arise, troubleshooting technical errors and reaching out to collaborators for assistance when needed.
Communication: You will work closely within the Travel Experiences and wider TTC team to meet deadlines and to coordinate projects. You will build, develop and cultivate professional relationships within the TTC team to guarantee efficient communication and a collaborative working environment.
You!
1. Have experience as a copy editor producing copy for an American audience
2. Have practical training in the development of AI language platforms and an ability to learn new software programs
3. Have high attention to detail, a superior command of English and excellent geographical knowledge
4. Are ready to tackle challenges with a positive attitude and maintain focus while prioritising a multitude of tasks
5. Can adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment
