More about your role
You will be responsible for the day to day running and organisation of the pottery studio, reporting into the Head of Pottery and the Adult Education Manager.
In addition you may be asked to teach classes. You will provide a professional and high quality service to the students and parents of students where appropriate.

You will be a trained Ceramics professional with relevant experience in running and maintaining a Pottery Studio. A willingness to learn is important, so you can develop the studio, facilities and resources available to the students.
You will need to demonstrate knowledge of kiln loading & firing, clay recycling and preparation, glazing techniques and preparations, studio organisation, health and safety, stock control and customer enquiries. The role is not limited to these tasks and may also include other ad hoc or ongoing responsibilities.
You will maintain high standards within the studio and be proud to see the implementation of your efforts and organisation.
