ABC Teachers work with a number of schools within the Dudley and Sandwell area, therefore we're seeking passionate, reliable and qualified Teaching Assistants to support us.
The work we offer would be on a supply basis. This means we can work around you and your availability.
The work could range from day to day cover, short-term or long-term absence which could also open avenues to permanent roles within schools!
In this role you could be working from Nursery to Year 6. The roles could be working as a general Teaching Assistant supporting the teacher and the class as a whole, or you could be working 1:1 with students with a range of SEN needs.
To be successful in the role you will need the following.
- Good communication skills
- Kind nature and a good work ethic
- Ability to adapt methods to suit different students’ needs
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility
You will also need a valid DBS or be open to obtaining one.
Requirements
To be considered for the position, you will:
Have referenceable experience within the last 2 years.
Be willing to commit to a dedicated and welcoming team.
Have the ability to engage pupils and build strong relationships with all stakeholders
Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
