It's important that our customer's vessels leave our facility in a great physical state that prevents corrosion, enhances aesthetics and complies with environmental regulations. This is where you may come in.
We are looking for Painters to join the team in full-time permanent positions. Experience in surface prep and marine safety would be great and we are also looking for painters keen to be trained to the standards that we work to.

Who we are:
A&P Falmouth is one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK, we provide a complete range of marine repair services tanks to our on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops.
What you will do:
* - Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, blasting, cleaning and applying primers
* - Apply paint and coatings to ship surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray equipment, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications and quality standards
* - Take pride in the quality and appearance of your work
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience as a Painter in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment would be great, we can train to get you to the standards we work to
* As our dry docks are big and exposed to the elements, you need to be able to work at heights and in confined spaces as well as in various weather conditions.
* Those who are absolutely committed to ensuring health and safety, we all work safe and go home safe.
