What we’re looking for:
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual who is well experienced in cafe management and dedicated to providing outstanding food and service. The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong passion for the craft of coffee making and a desire to learn more in creating signature dish experiences for Better Way Cafe.
* Excellent relational skills and the ability to engage with customers in a professional and engaging manner.
* A willingness to go above and beyond to ensure each customer leaves with a deeper connection.
* Exceptional management and operation skills of a cafe restaurant.
Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for the management and profitable operation of the cafe.
* Accounts management to ensure the business runs smoothly.
* Daily opening and closing of the cafe.
* Prepare, plate, source produce, and serve meals to customers efficiently.
* Inventory and stock management.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace and manage the overall Sharewater space.
* Inventory reporting and equipment maintenance.
* Collaborate with the team to enhance the overall customer experience.
* Create new menu items to attract interest in the market.
* Post regularly on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
* Availability to serve at key community events and functions outside normal working hours.
* Train new staff.
* Establish partnerships with local businesses and schools to generate interest for Better Way Cafe.
