Your Key Responsibilities - Service Delivery Manager
Operational Leadership:
* Strategically allocate resources to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
* Deliver projects within quoted costs and margins, ensuring consistent quality.
* Drive renewals of Service & Maintenance Agreements (SMA) and improve account management processes.
* Lead compliance with ISO9001 and leverage digital tools to optimize performance.
* Champion continuous improvements to streamline workflows and secure competitive advantages.
Financial Oversight:
* Monitor and manage operational budgets to maintain profitability.
* Collaborate with Finance teams to develop and refine financial reports and identify areas for improvement.
Team Development & Leadership:
* Lead and inspire the Service Delivery team of office-based staff and field engineers.
* Drive team performance through recruitment, training, coaching, and succession planning.
* Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and growth.
* Oversee HR functions including onboarding, training, and compliance with employment regulations.
About You:
We’re seeking a driven, solutions-focused professional with:
* Proven experience in operations management within service-led industries such as engineering or facilities management.
* A solid technical background, ideally in mechanical engineering, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical environments.
* Expertise in resource allocation, operational efficiency, and cost control.
* Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and profitability.
* Outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and empower teams.
* A proactive, customer-focused mindset, coupled with excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional organisational, time management, and communication skills.
