The Role:
Joining our friendly and supportive team as a Business Support Manager , you will help to further develop and maintain a strong customer service and continuous improvement culture within Younger Adults Business Support Team to ensure the service delivers first class administrative support, enabling our Social Work teams to deliver essential services to Older Adults so they can live long, happy and independent lives. In this varied role you’ll lead a line management structure of approximately 10 to 15 business support administrators, with about half of them being direct reports to you.

Along with a successful track record of managing and developing a large administrative function, you’ll have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Our Business Support Manager need a flexible approach to changing demands and priorities, so you’ll enjoy working as part of a team, collaborating and supporting others to ensure an excellent level of service is delivered. You’ll also be confident using Microsoft Office and learning new IT systems. With good organisational, prioritisation and time management skills, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the team.
