Are you a skilled professional in asset management and compliance with a passion for ensuring statutory adherence? We are seeking an Asset & Compliance Manager for a prominent organisation in London. This pivotal role, reporting to the Technical Manager, offers a unique opportunity to lead compliance efforts and manage essential asset data.
Role Overview:
As the Asset & Compliance Manager, you will ensure that all technical services meet statutory compliance standards across the contract portfolio. Your responsibilities will include managing asset data, overseeing the preventative maintenance programme, and conducting detailed reviews of high-risk areas such as asbestos, fire safety, fixed wiring, gas installations, and water hygiene.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Compliance Audits: Perform thorough audits to verify statutory compliance and address any issues identified.
2. Asset Management: Oversee the upkeep and accuracy of asset data in Maximo, ensuring comprehensive reporting on plant and equipment conditions.
3. Health & Safety: Develop and implement health & safety policies, ensuring alignment with both legal requirements and company standards.
4. Preventative Maintenance: Coordinate asset data with maintenance schedules in line with SFG20 to ensure effective preventative measures.
5. Reporting & Collaboration: Collaborate with operational teams and subcontractors to deliver services safely and compliantly. Generate detailed monthly reports on compliance issues and risks.
6. Documentation Management: Maintain the compliance documentation platform, ensuring that all certificates are properly stored and accessible.
What We're Looking For:
7. Experience: 3-5 years in a role related to Building Services or Facilities Management, with a strong focus on asset management and compliance.
8. Skills: Proficient in Maximo and Microsoft Office, with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
9. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of statutory compliance, health & safety procedures, and audit practices. Experience with SFG20 and CAFM systems is a plus.
10. Qualifications: Relevant qualification in M&E, compliance, or Health & Safety, along with IOSH certification. Familiarity with asbestos legislation, legionella control, and M&E building services is required. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001 standards is desirable.
Key Skills:
11. Proven capability in managing and upholding quality standards through regular audits and oversight.
12. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, aiming to exceed their expectations.
13. Expertise in statutory compliance and health & safety regulations, including experience with accident/incident reporting and investigation.
14. Commercial understanding of asset management, ensuring accurate documentation and change management in Maximo.
Desirable Attributes:
15. Experience with Maximo Planning & Integration.
16. Knowledge of SFG20 standards and CAFM systems.
