We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Woodland Estate Arborist / Tree Surgeon / Woodspersonwho has experience working in a forestry / woodland / estate environment, including using industry-related machinery and holds minimum certificates of competence, CS30 and CS31, Brushcutter and Brushwood Chipper.
Working as the Woodland Estate Arborist / Tree Surgeon / Woodsperson you must be prepared to work outside in all seasons and weathers accordingly and demonstrate a basic understanding of woodland management practices and have a good understanding of tree identification.
As the Woodland Estate Arborist / Tree Surgeon / Woodsperson you will be reporting directly to the Estate Advisor and working on a range of forestry activities to maintain the woodlands.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Woodland Estate Arborist / Tree Surgeon / Woodsperson include:
1. Tree maintenance
2. Tree surveying & safety inspections
3. Planting and establishing trees
4. Manual and mechanical vegetation management
5. Coppicing
6. Felling and processing timber
7. Pest control
8. Firewood production and delivery
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
9. Hold minimum certificates of competence, CS30 and CS31, Brushcutter and Brushwood Chipper
10. Full UK driving licence
Desirable
11. A land-based qualification, minimum Level 2 (or equivalent)
12. NPTC, IPAF or LANTRA Certificates of Competence
13. Tree Inspection qualification
14. First Aid+F and Shotgun/FAC licence
