We're working with an exciting start-up that is helping organisations take real action on their climate goals. They’re building a platform that helps organisations create and implement strategies to achieve net zero. The platform is designed to make navigating the world of climate action straightforward for users – and that’s where you come in as their Product Manager!
What you’ll be doing
As Product Manager, you’ll be right in the middle of the action, leading the development of their innovative platform. You’ll be working closely with the design and engineering teams to make sure it’s user-friendly and packed with useful features that help clients make informed decisions. Your role will involve defining the product roadmap, gathering insights from users, managing the product lifecycle, and working through backlogs using agile methodologies. It’s a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you’ll be engaging with stakeholders and driving the product forward from concept to launch.
What experience you’ll need to apply
* Proven experience in multiple Product Manager roles, ideally with a focus on front-end, client-facing solutions.
* Experience in a delivery-focused environment, ideally in start-up or growth-stage companies.
* Start-up experience/being the first product hire would be highly desirable.
* Background in consultancy, working closely with cross-functional teams i.e., development and design.
* Strong project management skills, including experience working with JIRA, agile methodologies, and sprint management.
* Exceptional communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, as well as engaging with senior stakeholders.
* Experience in user-centred design, with a focus on delivering easy-to-use, front-end solutions that drive engagement and action.
* Interest or experience in climate tech, sustainability, or ESG reporting.
* Experience with products involving large datasets, information retrieval, or AI-driven insights. Familiarity with NLP tools is a plus.
* A passion for sustainability and climate tech is an advantage, but not essential.
