Project Manager (EAMS/CMMS)
Location: UKAEA, 3 days a week on site
Duration: 24-month project
Budget Responsibility: £2.5m
Overall Purpose
UKAEA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of an Enterprise Asset and Maintenance Management System (EAM/CMMS). This is a unique opportunity to spearhead a digital transformation project that will drive efficiency and innovation across the organisation. The Project Manager will provide end-to-end project management support, leading project teams, managing resources, and ensuring successful completion of work packages within scope, on time, and within budget.
Accountabilities
* Develop a full suite of project documents, including project justification document, project management plan, and work breakdown structures.
* Setup and lead project board meetings at agreed frequency.
* Develop project metrics, dashboards, and other reporting tools as appropriate.
* Project reporting and governance via UKAEA's reporting platform P3M.
* Develop and maintain risk and benefit registers, and lessons learnt log.
* Develop training plans and knowledge transfer strategy.
* Drive business change and assist with conflict resolution.
* Provide inputs into procurement and requirements gathering process.
* Manage technical resources and allocated budget.
* Ensure on-time and within-budget implementation of a new EAMS/CMMS.
* Oversee project closeout and benefits realisation.
Specific Qualifications/Experience
* Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* PRINCE2 / MSP / APM equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project objectives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
* Experience in managing project budgets and financial resources.
