Learning Mentor
We are currently recruiting for Learning Mentors to work with children with social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) and SEND needs in Primary schools in Sheffield.
Day to day responsibilities as a Learning Mentor:
1. Mentoring and guiding the students in their behavioural development
2. Assisting students with SEN to set and achieve personal and educational targets
3. Engage and assist with various learning activities and programs
4. Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours
5. Be a positive role model, helping students build confidence and self-esteem
6. Work closely with teachers, parents and other learning mentors to create a comprehensive support network for pupils
Requirements:
7. Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification/relevant degree Degree
8. UK classroom experience in Primary Schools
9. To be available for full time employment
10. An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
