Main duties of the job

This Advanced Nurse Practitioner role will involveworking alongside a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners,Clinical Pharmacists and Nurses to provide care and treatment to patients witheither long term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses.
The successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work asan autonomous practitioner, diagnosing, managing, prescribing and dischargingpatients with illness or injury across all age groups including young children.This may be by face-to-face consultation, telephone or video consultation.

The successful post-holder will manage a caseload anddeal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring thehighest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
In accordance with the practice timetable, asagreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a varietyof duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations andqueries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptionsand dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.

11. No restrictions on prescribing.
12. Able to see pregnant women in regards non pregnancyrelated issues.

15. Masters degree OR Post graduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification OR RCN accreditation Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
16. Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level Minor illness qualification
