The role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate Events Executive to join the Event Delivery team in the Integrated Services function. The Event Delivery team provides professional event management advice, planning, and end to end management for PwC’s client events and large scale internal events.
You will principally be responsible for managing, planning, and delivering end to end events for a range of client facing and internal business events, which also include the firm's growing Alliances partnerships.
What your days will look like:
1. Managing all elements of the event. This includes sourcing and selecting venues, audio-visual services, branding, other event services suppliers and speakers; ensuring all relevant contractual processes have been carried out.
2. Making recommendations to stakeholders on third party suppliers, based on the event requirements and your knowledge of the events industry and PwC’s preferred supplier policy.
3. Managing events within agreed schedules, scope and budgets.
4. Onsite management of events to ensure they run seamlessly
This role is for you if:
5. You are a fast learner and experienced event manager from a corporate background, capable of quickly adapting and excelling in new environments. You are self-sufficient and thrive in a highly collaborative, large team setting.
6. Demonstrate experience managing complex large scale corporate conferences, events and seminars end to end, in a live environment.
7. The ability to effectively plan and manage projects and prioritise conflicting deadlines and to deal effectively with changing requirements.
8. High attention to detail and proven ability to work and multi task in a fast paced environment to ensure all events are planned and executed to a high standard
9. Diplomacy, pragmatism and political sensitivity are required in order to manage expectations, and deal effectively with the challenges of supporting a mixed business partnership with the ability to think broadly, influence and challenge internal stakeholders, as well as a willingness to be challenged.
10. Sound, confident judgement and proven problem solving skills along with strong numeracy skills and proven ability to manage budgets, identify savings and provide value.
