We are currently seeking a talented Commercial Marketing Analyst to join our team and support our Commercial Sales Manager. What you'll be doing
As a Commercial Marketing Analyst at Yodel, your main responsibility will be to support the sales and accounts team in attracting, converting, and retaining target profiles and clients. You will collaborate with the Commercial Sales Manager to co-develop and deliver tender and bid materials, ensuring continuity and excellence in the sales process both locally and internationally. In addition to duties, you will be responsible, for the following:
* Developing and executing client activities as agreed upon
* Supporting non-strategic tender/bid processes for Yodel
* Actively assisting the Sales team during the tender process, including meetings and calls
* Supporting sales prospecting activities
* Delivering the required support documents for tender/bid processes
* Designing and creating templates and standard presentation materials as needed
* Updating and maintaining support document libraries for tenders/bids, including policies, user guides, compliance certificates, etc
* Managing the presentation library and maintaining it on Sales Force for all accounts and new business processes
* Co-developing commercial activities and supporting documentation for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)
* Creating and communicating best practices where appropriate
* Driving continuous data acquisition and maintaining the quality of the CRM database
* Supporting branding and design efforts for all external touchpoints, client management, and sales processes to ensure brand consistency
* Supporting key sponsorships and hospitality activities
* Assisting in delivering trade show and industry event activities
* Building and nurturing relationships with the internal team as well as suppliers, clients and prospects
What you need to show us
* Personable with excellent communication skills
* Analytical and detail oriented
* Flexible in style and approach
* Highly organised
* Able to understand and articulate activities within the context of a strategic plan
* Experience in bid and tender management
* Strong presentation skills, especially in PowerPoint
* Project management experience
* Ability to work with sales teams and cross-functionally
* Familiarity with managing external marketing agencies
* Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM system
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Experience in a retail or e-commerce environment would be desirable
* Experience in delivering market insights would be desirable
