About your role:
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing all technical, environmental, and cost-related activities prior to contract award. This includes overseeing the preparation and completion of both budgetary and final proposals for client submission. The ideal applicant will have a strong understanding of the mechanical and/ or the electrical engineering requirements for Centrica Business Solutions core products, including solar, CHP, and heat pump installations, as well as familiarity with the design, engineering, and installation processes for other renewable energy systems such as solar, wind, and battery storage. You will travel to Salford or Windsor on occassion.
Here's what we're looking for:
1. Review private (and potentially public) sector clients tenders and /or requirements for power and heating energy infrastructure package of works and outline technical solutions in line with their requirements
2. Survey clients site(s) to identify suitable technical solutions in line with Centrica Business Solutions products and identify delivery risks
3. Arrange and facilitate client site survey(s) of specialist external contractors
4. Collect, treat and analyse client data that affects the technical solutions and their associated costs and environmental credentials
