Team/Role Overview:
The Manager Control Assessment Quality Assurance team is an integral part of the Central Controls team that owns the enterprise-wide framework and execution of Manager Control Assessment program. The purpose of the team is to drive quality into the program to ensure management can rely on insight as the underlying data is timely, accurate andplete.
This role will be part of a growing global team within Central Controls who are responsible for executing quality assurance reviews over the Manager Control Assessment enterprise wide and will:
1. Challenge the quality of Manager Control Assessment policy, standard, procedures and practices.
2. Verify that established standards and processes are followed and consistently applied.
3. Rmend actions that will address the root cause of identified operational weaknesses in order to prevent recurrence by changing design and/ or execution.
4. Identify execution errors for prioritized remediation.
This role requires an individual with strong assurance experience and a desire to work in a fast paced, agile, and dynamic environment where priorities and expectations change. The individual in this role will report to an Manager Control Assessment Quality Assurance Director.
What you will do:
You will work within the Central Controls team conducting Quality Assurance Reviews over the Manager Control Assessment across all Business and Functions, with tasks including:
5. Executing enterprise-wide Manager Control Assessment Quality Assurance reviews in accordance with Citi's Standards and Procedures set up by Central Controls.
6. pleting Quality Assurance Review scripts across all in-scope Businesses and Functions and gathering evidence for areas of concern.
7. Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships across all lines of defense including within Central Controls. Businesses and Functions, Operational Risk, Independentpliance Risk Management, and Internal Audit.
8. Collaborating closely with stakeholders as exceptions emerge and ensuring these aremunicated to management on a timely basis.
9. Developing rmendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency, where appropriate.
10. Designing and leveraging intelligent solutions to enhance data analytics to support sampling methodologies and Manager Control Assessment Quality Assurance coverage.
What we will need from you:
11. Background in controls management, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management orpliance preferred; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business/function.
12. Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence people at all levels of the organization and across different geographic locations.
13. Ability to quickly understandplex subject matter, demonstrate critical thinking andmunicate effectively.
14. Excellentmunication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
