As a Nurse Practitioner you will be:
11. Comprehensive care to lead a team of nurses and carers
12. To provide training/workshops to the team and Therapy team
13. Developing care plans
14. Pre-assess potential residents, organising step by step” Discharge Back in The Community” process
15. Organising MDT diary meetings (monthly, three monthly 6 monthly or as required)
16. Advising residents on illness ,preventions, and lifetime choices,
17. Providing training to residents and relatives
18. Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care
19. Producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
20. Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology
21. Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
22. Responsible for making decisions in a timely manner
23. Utilising your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members
24. Making decisions and taking action in a timely manner
25. Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
To succeed you will be:
26. Experience in brain injury
27. A Registered Nurse with the ability to lead a team of care staff
28. Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families
29. A team player who engages well with others
30. A sense of humour and positive outlook
31. Able to communicate effectively at all levels
32. Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards
33. Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role
34. Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment
