An exciting opportunity for a Drainage Plumber to work for an established FM situated in Kent has arisen! The company is looking to expand their operation and bring in a Drainage Plumber to supply a service to a large site in Kent. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in drainage and commercial or industrial building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000 based on qualifications and experience, overtime, further training, and career progression.

Key duties & Responsibilities
1. Conduct inspections and repairs on commercial plumbing and drainage installations.
2. Address client queries, report defects, and keep clients informed during service visits.
3. Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 Hour Week)
Requirements
1. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Physically capable of performing the required duties.
4. C&G Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent / technical diploma in a related field.
5. Repairs, maintenance, and installation of external and underground water supply pipework (MDPE, Ductile Iron, Cast Iron, Copper, uPVC up to 12” diameter).
6. Familiarity with various valves (butterfly, gate, ball, pressure reducing).
7. Experience with pits, ducts, manholes, hydrants, pipe connectors, and fittings.
8. Knowledge of underground drainage and foul sewage systems (Clay/Concrete, uPVC, GRP, Cast Iron).
9. Experience with surface water gulleys, drains, sewage tanks, pumps (positive displacement and centrifugal), oil interceptors, and penstock valves.
10. Holder of Blue Water Card and Valve Operations Card (desirable).
