Trainee IT Support Technician
The Role:
· Provide comprehensive IT support to the company to ensure that the IT infrastructure is able to meet current and future business needs. Directly reporting into the Head of Operations.
Key Activities:
· Manage all IT-related hardware and software to ensure effective functionality. This will include but is not limited to:
o 1st line IT and telephony support, responding to and resolving user queries in a timely manner. This will include in-person and remote support as required.
o Set up new users, ensuring that staff have access to the appropriate IT tools required to complete their duties.
o Install new hardware/software and perform upgrades as required to meet the developing needs of the business.
o Manage all troubleshooting and perform hardware/software fixes.
o Work on bespoke applications to meet business requirements.
o Maintain data security for the business, ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements, industry standards and company policy. Take appropriate action to protect company data from malicious activity and ensure users follow appropriate protocols to mitigate risk.
