This role will be based in their Colchester office, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. Senior Town Planner Position Overview
10. Assist team lead role for the Planning team.
11. Assist with programming resources and assigning workload.
12. Monitor own time/resource input for projects to ensure commercial success.
13. Provide high-level strategy advice to clients regarding their development proposals in relation to planning policy and feasibility.
14. Contribute to the Practice generally in terms of management, discipline development, business plan objectives etc.
15. Promote the work of the planning team through all IW's offices, to raise quality of planning work and provide clear definition of role and services.
Senior Town Planner Position Requirements
16. Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
17. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
18. Have at least 5 years' experience in a senior role within a Planning Team
19. Have a broad range of sector experience, ideally with some retail planning experience
20. Live in a commutable distance of Colchester
