The Role
:
As a Parts Advisor, you will provide advice and support while ensuring adherence to all stock maintenance processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Generate data and reports to ensure the parts inventory meets customer demand and aligns with manufacturer guidelines.
2. Prepare orders for picking, collection, and delivery.
3. Monitor and maintain stock levels in accordance with established processes.
4. Address customer inquiries via telephone and email.
5. Place orders using manufacturer systems.
6. Help customers identify parts, provide pricing information, and check availability.
7. Maintain close communication with service engineers, internal departments, suppliers, and customers regarding parts requests.
8. Process parts invoicing and allocate parts to jobs for service counter and trade sales.
9. Conduct stock checks and audits, resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
Requirements:
10. Previous experience working in a similar role.
11. Ideally have background working with Agricultural machinery.
12. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Technical knowledge of products and parts would be preferred.
