The Role :
We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience to work at a welcoming SEN School based in Leiston, Suffolk. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have social, emotional, and mental health challenges and provide feedback to teachers and other staff about students' progress and any emerging needs or issues.

Your Responsibilities :
1. Supporting students in their academic and personal development
2. Implementing individualised learning plans
3. Providing emotional and behavioural support
4. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
5. Promoting positive behaviour and self-esteem
Requirements :
6. Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)
7. Eligibility to work in the UK
8. DBS (or the willingness to apply)
9. A compassionate and patient approach
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills
11. Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
12. Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
