Aspire People are looking to recruit Learning Mentors for their partnership schools in Selly Oak.
Are you a degree qualified education professional who would like to take on this role guiding children through their learning and supporting the teacher to achieve progression and success?
Ever worked in support work and considered working in education?
Can you be the person that can mediate, have difficult conversations and relate to any issues the children may be going through?
This role is working as a mentor for mixed ability children within all school years so experience of working with multiple age groups is necessary, the schools have high SEND averages so ultimately you must be willing to work with children who will need more support.
You will also need to mark, plan, and deliver any work that is set, and this will be reflected upon pay.
The school have a great support network including their SLT, the children are welcoming and friendly, and all the children are a pleasure to work with.
